Naiya Cowl

Pattern: Naiya
Yarn: less than 1 skein (right at 80 grams) Knit Picks Swish Bulky in Silver – Superwash Merino Wool
Needle: US 11 (Have I mentioned that I got a set of interchangeable cable needles? Ooh la la.)

SI finished this soft soft cowl last weekend, and although it’s still quite warm in Las Vegas, we had a couple of cooler days this week. Not so cool that a wool cowl is exactly needed, but the air conditioning at work continued to pump out enough cold air that I happily snuggled into my cowl and drank tea in the mornings.

SSSOh, this yarn is such a delight. And this pattern is lovely. As a co-worker pointed out, it’s almost rope-like, but it’s dainty too, somehow.

I was considering giving this one as a gift, but I think I’ll keep it and maybe make more as holiday gifts.

In the meantime, I’m looking forward to bringing this along on a getaway to northern California next weekend with some friends from college.

  1. I like this one! Though it doesn’t look as hard to knit up as the beautiful one that you sent me for my birthday…lol
